For artist Katie Paterson’s multimedia piece Langjökull, Snæfellsjökull, Solheimajökull she took field recordings of the Icelandic glaciers, then melted some glacier ice and ‘pressed’ 3 records out of the re-frozen ice with the audio from her recordings of the glacier. Click thru to listen.
